How long does it take to get it done?
The whole procedure takes about 1-2 hours depending on the area to be treated- which includes numbing the area to complete microblading of the eyebrows.
How long does it take for the microbladed eyebrows to heal?
It takes around 1-2 weeks to heal. During that time, we advise you to stay away from water, steam, sweat etc. Once the flaking period is complete, the result will appear lighter and the true color will come out after 4 weeks. As long as you follow the aftercare regime properly, there shouldn’t be any problem going to work, or in public.
Is microblading permanent?
Microblading is long lasting but not permanent. The pigment is implanted very meticulously into the upper dermal layer of the skin. The pigment is very superficial in comparison with a traditional tattoo, making it fade over time and requiring future touch ups.
How long does microblading last?
Microbladed eyebrows typically last one to two years for people before they need a touchup. Semi-permanent makeup will not wash off but however, they will fade with time and needs a touch up every 15-18 months.
How many sessions are required?
At least two sessions are necessary, with the second session being done at least 6 to 8 weeks apart. Touch-ups are done no earlier than six weeks after your first procedure and not beyond 12 weeks.
Will you shave off my eyebrows?
No, we want maximum hair to be there to know the accurate thickness of the brow but we recommend all our patients to get their extra hair brow removed and then come to us so that we can define a proper shape.
Can I microblade my own Eyebrows?
Absolutely not. Performing such invasive procedure on your face is not recommended. If done incorrectly, it can use infection and loss of eyebrows.
Will you draw the shape first?
Yes, the shape will be drawn and shown to you. We won’t start the process until you agree with the shape.
Can I wear makeup after microblading?
Do not wear makeup on the brow for at least 2 weeks after the procedure.
How will my eyebrows look right after the microblading procedure?
They will look great! They may be little darker and some minimal amount of swelling. Alcohol intake in not advised after the microblading procedure for at least 2 weeks.
Are there any alternatives?
Non-surgical alternatives include permanent tattooing which can look unnatural and is irreversible if you are not happy. Surgical alternatives include hair transplant. This is advisable for people who have complete loss of eyebrow, rather than those looking for increased thickness.
