For any procedure in which the trainee has to participate, prior permission will be sought from the patient. Patient interest and medicolegal aspects will govern the involvement of trainees in all cases.

It is advised that the student read available material on the internet thoroughly. The teaching will be didactic and will consist of questions and answers. No formal lectures will be taken. We generally have surgeries almost daily; however, this cannot always be predicted and guaranteed. So it is possible that there may not be any surgeries on certain days. The opportunities for the trainee also depend on the requirements of a given case. Discretion of the senior doctor will be final in all such matters.
